Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

Begin your 3-day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert early in the morning. We start by crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, making our way to Ifrane, fondly known as Little Switzerland of Morocco for its picturesque Alpine-like scenery that contrasts beautifully with Morocco’s landscape. Continuing through this unique terrain, we reach the cedar forest of Azrou, where Barbary macaques roam freely.

Next, we journey to Midelt, a charming village famous for its delicious apples. After a leisurely lunch and a stroll through the village, we proceed towards the Erg Chebbi desert. En route, marvel at the stunning Ziz Gorges, renowned for their palm-fringed valleys, rugged mountains, and ancient Kasbahs. In the evening, upon arrival at Erg Chebbi, indulge in a delightful dinner at a traditional riad or local Kasbah, soaking in the desert’s tranquil atmosphere.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Excursion

Rise early on the second day of our 3-day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert to witness the breathtaking beauty of a desert sunrise and experience the serene silence of the Sahara. After returning to the camp for breakfast and a refreshing shower, we ride camels back to the departure point. Day 3: Drive from Merzouga Desert to Fes

Bid farewell to the desert on the final day of our tour as we journey back to Fes. En route, we visit the bustling Rissani Market, the largest souk in the area, and Erfoud, known for its marble stone carving and fossil craftsmanship. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ziz Valley and palm groves as we make our way to Midelt, renowned for its apple production.

Take a break for lunch in Midelt or the nearby town of Zaida before continuing our journey back to Fes via the Azrou cedar forest. Arrive in Fes around 6 p.m., where our 3 day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert concludes with drop-off at your accommodation.
