Founder & Lead Guide, Marrakech Sand Tours
Youssef grew up in southern Morocco, between the Atlas Mountains and the edge of the Sahara, and has spent his career guiding travelers through the landscapes he calls home. After years working as a licensed desert guide and driver, he founded Marrakech Sand Tours to do things differently — smaller groups, honest itineraries, and a genuine passion for showing people the Morocco he grew up in.
Today, Youssef personally oversees every itinerary the agency runs, and works closely with a small, trusted team of local drivers and guides who share the same standard of care. Whether it's a first-time visitor's three-day desert trip or a two-week Grand Tour, he believes the details — a well-timed stop, a good local meal, an honest recommendation — are what make a trip memorable.
